WHAT SHOULD I CONSIDER BEFORE ORDERING MY SHIPMENT TO OR FROM MEXICO?
It is essential that you place your order with origin or destination in Mexico, at least 5 days in advance. In addition, you must have a series of necessary documents ready for the shipment to be carried out successfully and for the customs process to run smoothly:
- DNI/NIE and passport.
- Household goods certificate (Certificado de menaje del hogar) Only for shipments to Mexico. You must go to the Mexican embassy or consulate in Spain a week or more in advance to request it. It is essential that you review the list of restricted items before making the request for such a document, thus ensuring that you do not have to repeat the request in case you send something that is not allowed.
- Document that accredits the stay in Mexico, (in shipments originating in Mexico, a minimum stay in that country of 1 year must be demonstrated). We are talking about work contracts, housing contracts, student certificates, etc.
- Airline tickets from origin to destination not older than 6 months.
- Certificate of registration in Spain: Only in the event that your shipment originates in Mexico It is not an essential document but it is recommended to help with the customs process.
- In addition, we will need you to prepare a list of the content you want to send so that we can fill in documents that we will send you once you have confirmed your submission.
